Panel filters

We make panel filters as the first stage of filtration in HVAC — for air-handling units, ventilation ducting and industrial applications. We choose the frame to suit your application: plastic, metal or cardboard. Standard sizes are ready for common units; custom sizes are made exactly to measure. Plastic frames in 96 and 100 mm depths are also supplied with a flange for easy installation.

Standard sizes

For plastic frames: 592×592, 592×287 and 287×287 in depths of 25, 48, 96 and 150 mm. We make custom sizes in the same depths. For metal and cardboard frames we also offer greater depths.

Durable construction

Choose from sturdy plastic, metal (with reinforcement) or cardboard frames. For operations with higher humidity we recommend a plastic frame — cardboard would be damaged in that environment.

Wide filtration range

Filter media in classes ISO Coarse 60 % to ePM1 80 % to ISO 16890 (corresponding to the old G4 to F8 scale). We cover coarse-dust pre-filtration as well as fine filtration of submicron particles in air-handling units and HVAC.

Maximum area

Compact construction with a small installation depth and low weight. Pleated media (mini-pleat or Z-line) increases the filtration area — more area in the same size means lower pressure drop and longer service life.

Economical operation

The recommended final pressure drop is 200–300 Pa — once reached, it pays to replace the filter. At the end of its service life the metal parts can be recycled and the rest disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.

Types of frames and filter media for panel filters

Cardboard frame with a flat cut-to-size of filter media. Classes ISO Coarse 50 % to ePM10 50 % (corresponding to G3 to M5). The cheapest option for coarse pre-filtration.
